Sue Lightfoot
Hello there, a little something about me…
My collection of images are about living in the light and making use of the light to see past the external form into the very core of the subject. When making images I always ask permission, permission to be on the land, to be in the prensence, to click. I try to join my energy with that of my subject, irrespective of it being a living creature, rock, bird, tree, landscape of other natural form.
I have learnt over the years that you can’t take an image without showing and sharing something of yourself. Photography has helped me find my way back to my deepest most authentic self and to be totally present in the moment. Photography is not work for me, its life, it’s using all gifts given to me by the divine, it’s about the endless possibilities all around me every day.
As a humanist, I am committed and passionate about improving life for those less fortunate, the earth which we take so much for granted. I hope to share my images to promote social causes for the betterment of this wonderful place called EARTH and the creatures that inhabit her….. blessed GAIA
